We are looking for a dependable, patient, and caring individual to serve as an instructor for our neurodivergent high school student for one or more subjects. This is a flexible, in-home role - could be weekday, weekend, or evening hours, depending on your schedule and ours.
The ideal candidate:
Does not necessarily have a teacher certificate but is familiar and patient with working with a neurodivergent teen. Can also be an aspiring teacher (college student).
Open to project based learning in a 10th grade+ special education Pennsylvania based curriculum with a flexible, open learning plan. Very hands on.
Is someone wants to make a difference and is intrinsically driven, will engage and connect and be part of our family.
Is reliable and shows up consistently — your presence matters.
Can provide a calm, structured, non judgmental and supportive presence for a neurodivergent teen who thrives in relationships with adults that truly care about her.
Is comfortable working independently in a home setting, but also as a part of a larger team.
Has a car and a safe driving record; you may go out for field trips, to the library, etc.
Desire to learn and continually enhance knowledge and understanding of neurodiversity.
Shows good problem-solving, coachability, decisiveness, and teamwork skills.
Must be comfortable with two friendly labrador retrievers.
Must submit Child Abuse History Clearance, PA State Police Criminal Record Check, and Federal Criminal History Record.
This could be the ideal position for you if you’re a college student, taking a break from the classroom, have homeschooled, or are a retired teacher wanting to make a more one-on-one impact….but could be the right fit for someone else, as well! Prior experience in education, youth work, ministry, or special education is a plus but not required — the right attitude and growth mindset matter most. These positions are a 1099/W-9 employee with premium professional pay. Mileage reimbursement is available for transporting Molly to learning activities/outings at the IRS mileage business reimbursement rate.

We are looking for dependable, patient, and caring individuals to serve as a dedicated support companion for our teenager. Kinda like a nanny - but different. This is a flexible, in-home role that would also involve accompanying Molly to activities, appointments, and other outings.
The ideal candidate:
Is someone wants to make a difference and is intrinsically driven, will engage and connect and be part of our family.
Is reliable and shows up consistently — your presence matters.
Can provide a calm, structured, non judgmental and supportive presence for a neurodivergent teen who thrives in relationships with caregivers that truly care about her.
Is comfortable working independently in a home setting, but also as a part of a larger team.
Has a car and a safe driving record.
Will help Molly with time management and daily living tasks and routines.
Will model to Molly how to move through her day successfully.
Demonstrate assertiveness to learn and continually enhance knowledge and understanding of neurodiversity.
Shows good problem-solving, coachability, decisiveness, and teamwork skills.
Develop a close and emotionally supportive relationships with Molly to coach/mentor/support her.
Participate in a wide variety of activities with Molly, encouraging and supporting her to develop the skills associated with the tasks.

We have the ability to work with you and your schedule to see what works best for everyone. We love that we have a lot of flexibility, which is great for a college student’s schedule or someone with another part time job. We have options available morning, afternoon, and evening; weekdays and weekends. We are looking to assemble a patient, dedicated, and fun team that will develop meaningful relationships with Molly - for you, it may be a few hours a week, or 25-30 hours a week, or somewhere in between.
We know that college students’ availability changes each quarter/semester and professional adults’ scheduling needs change as time goes on due to career/children/personal needs - please don’t let that stop you from contacting us if you are interested.

Very generous premium professional hourly rate, depending on experience.
Mileage reimbursement for travel with Molly to/from for activities, appointments, etc. (72.5 cents/mileage for 2026 IRS business mileage rate)
Academic Instructor/Tutor: W-9 contract employee. $50+/hour, depending on experience/role.
Student Success Companion: W-2 employee, with taxes taken out. $25+/hour, depending on experience.
